Dr. Allen J. LeBlanc, HEI Professor of Sociology, has been appointed to the editorial board of Society and Mental Health

Allen J. LeBlanc, Health Equity Institute Professor of Sociology at SF State, has been appointed to the editorial board of Society and Mental Health, a new journal of the American Sociological Association. Society and Mental Health publishes original articles that apply sociological concepts and methods to the understanding of the social origins of mental health and illness, the social consequences for persons with mental illness, and the organization and financing of mental health services and care. He will begin his term as Associate Editor in January 2012.
