Stress, Closeness Discrepancies, and Relational Well-Being among Couples

This is a study of how closeness - as constructed psychologically within individuals and interpersonally within couples - represents a key determinant of well-being.

Data are collected from a sample of 103 cohabiting couples (206 individual participants) recruited to complete an Internet-based questionnaire regarding stress, closeness, and well-being. These couples are randomly drawn from a nationally representative survey panel recruited via random sampling procedures.
